Introduction :
“Pour vous parler de la recherche universitaire sur les séries télévisées en France, j’ai décidé de m’appuyer prioritairement sur les thèses de doctorat déjà soutenues ou en cours, tout en faisant écho à quelques autres ouvrages. En effet, c’est à ce niveau que les changements se voient en premier, que sont proposés les sujets les plus originaux, que sont menées les premières expérimentations. D’autre part, le panorama que je vous propose ne pourra pas être exhaustif. En effet, les publications universitaires sur les séries sont certes encore limitées, mais elles se font majoritairement par le biais de colloques et de revues, de telle sorte qu’il est extrêmement difficile, voire impossible, de toutes les recenser. (…)”
